01 — ADULT MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
Free Virtual Certification Training
Learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health or substance-use challenges in adults ages 18 and older.
Training is offered virtually through SolanoConnex. Participants complete approximately two hours of pre-work before the training and receive Mental Health First Aid certification upon completion.
02 — FREE COMMUNITY TRAINING
Two-Hour Virtual Trainings
BSBB for Mental Health
Learn to recognize signs of mental distress, offer support confidently, and use strategies that support mental well-being.
BSBB for Suicide Prevention
Learn to recognize suicide risk, ask about suicidal intent, and connect someone with appropriate help using a culturally responsive approach.
03 — COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP
SolanoConnex Community Fellowship
A longer-term training opportunity for community members who interact with the public through their work or volunteer activities.
Participants will:
Receive Mental Health First Aid certification
Complete Be Sensitive Be Brave for Suicide Prevention training
Develop an action plan for their community
Participate in 8 group sessions and 2 one-on-one sessions over approximately 7–8 months
Have access to in-person, virtual, and hybrid options
